Syndrome of the scimitar
The syndrome of the scimitar is a particular form of partial abnormal pulmonary return venous. The two right pulmonary veins are connected in the lower vena cava. This anomaly of connection is often accompanied by an anomaly of the Poumon right: pulmonary hypoplasy or pulmonary Sequestration. The treatment depends on the cardiac tolerance of this anomaly.
The name of this syndrome vant of the aspect angiographic abnormal vessel whose form is velui of a Cimeterre.
