Syndrome of the long QT

The syndrome of the long QT is a heterogeneous Syndrome phénotypiquement and genetically which is characterized by a lengthening of space QT on the electrocardiogram of surface associated at the risk high with Torsades with point or of ventricular Fibrillation being able to involve Syncope and Sudden death.

The probability is strong if the measurement of space QT following the formula of Bazett: Corrected QT = square QT/racine of space preceding PR is higher than 440 milliseconds.
