The syndrome of Stickler is a disease of genetic cause conjunctive Tissu characterized by Doctor G.B. Stickler in 1965 when he worked with the Mayo Clinic.

This Syndrome associates:

  • Of the ocular disorders with type of early Myopia, cataract or an separation rétininen.
  • a Deafness of transmission or perception is frequent.
  • Of the facial anomalies with type of labial Slit or Syndrome of Pierre Robin.
  • an osseous attack of the Vertebra S and épiphyse S
  • a early Osteoarthritis succeeding a hyperlaxity
