Syndrome of Richter

The syndrome of Richter occurred of a lymphoma of high rank during a chronic lymphoid Leucémie. It is observed in 3 to 10% of the cases. The appearance of a syndrome of Richter classifies immediately the LLC in stage C of the classification of Binet. It was described in 1928 by American pathologist M.N. Richter.
