The syndrome of Churg-Strauss is a systemic form of Vascularite.

Symptoms

The Syndrome of Churg-Strauss is a auto-immune disease characterized by a chronic ignition of small and average Artère S. This syndrome is often preceded by a phase (being able to last of the years) of Asthme, nasal Polype S or multiples Inflammation S of the higher respiratory Tracts. It is to be noticed that often one observes preliminary allergies. As soon as the syndrome becomes active, it appears especially in the Poumon S, the skin, the Intestin, the nerves and the Cœur.

  • hyperéosinophilie
  • positive Factor rhumatoïde in 50% of the cases
  • positive ANCA in 50 to 70% of the cases
