Syndicate
Syndicate is a Video game developed by Bullfrog Productions and published by Electronic Arts in 1993 on Amiga and MS-DOS. It is about a play mixing action and strategy in real-time in a futuristic universe Cyberpunk. The play had an extension, Syndicate: American Revolt , and was related to various game consoles.
The player is with the pay of an organization wishing to make control on the world. The player must achieve a whole of missions without being concerned with morals: industrial espionage, murder, removal, destruction of material, the team of agents must adapt to achieve the objectives.
Gameplay
The play proceeds in two times.A phase of decision where, vis-a-vis a desk, the player can select technological research to study (weapons which go from rifle to pump to the “minigun”, etc). It is also possible to manage implants Cybernétique S; indeed you can replace certain parts of the body of your team-members. “Will cyberbras” which carries more, one armor, of the eyes to be able better to aim, etc (it is even possible of “booster rocket” the brain). Then there is not any more but to equip its team and finally to select a mission to realize.
The second phase consists in carrying out the mission. The adventure playground is represented in isometric Perspective. This mode of play inspired in particular Canon Fodder .
