Synagog of Lunéville

The Synagog of Lunéville date of 1786. It is the first synagog built in the kingdom of France since the expulsion of the Jews in 1394. It resembles more one house of Style Louis XVI than with a synagog because it is decorated of no Jewish symbol. It is today in withdrawal of the well released street but when it was built, it was located behind a house to answer at the request of discretion of the royal capacity which did nothing but tolerate one such building in a generally prohibited kingdom with the Jews.

Two years later, in 1788, was inaugurated the Synagog of Nancy.
