Synagog Hekhal Hanes
The synagog Hekhal Hanes (RTL He ביתהכנסתהיכלהנס) is a Synagog located in the district of Malagnou at Geneva (Suisse). It is most important of the six Jewish places of worship of the city.
The modern building with the sober style and of a capacity of 1200 places is inaugurated in 1972. The architecture of the synagog, built in basement and overhung of a garden on its roof, is original.
The religious offices follow the rites Séfarade S. a club of youth and sport as well as a club of Bridge are at the ground floor.

The May 24th 2007 in the morning, at the second day of the celebrations of the Jewish holiday of Chavouot, the entry of the synagog is destroyed by a Incendie, fire having been controlled in one hour by the firemen. However, the room of prayer and the works holy are not touched. In addition, nobody was wounded. Criminal lead, initially drawn aside, is then privileged by the Genevese police force. However, no sign anti-semite or calling with hatred against the Jews was found on the walls of the synagog. The track of one unbalanced is then evoked by the police force.
