Symphony orchestra of the federation of Russia
The Symphony orchestra of the federation of Russia is one of principal the Symphony orchestra of Russia
History
Founded with Moscow in 1936 under the name of Symphony orchestra of State of the USSR , the formation was conceived right from the start to become the floret of the Soviet orchestras. However, of the opinion many critics, the Philharmonic orchestra of Leningrad was higher to him.Ievgueni Svetlanov, after 35 years spent to the head of the orchestra, was laid off in 2000 by Mikhaïl Chvidkoï, the Minister for the Culture of Vladimir Poutine, with the pretext which the Russian chief too exclusively devoted to his international career and neglected the orchestra. In 2002, Mark Gorenstein, which had initially refused the station, succeeded Svetlanov.
The orchestra is also known under the name of Symphony orchestra of State of Russia but much of Russians call it from now on “Svetlanov Orchestra”.
