It is replaced by Franz-Paul Decker of 1967 with 1975, then briefly by Rafael Frühbeck of Burgos of 1975 with 1976.

In 1990, the orchestra answers the invitation with the festival of summer of the prestigious Boston Symphony Orchestra with Tanglewood, while occurring annually with the Carnegie Hall of New York since 1982.
It follows one period of rest from there, until in 1999: the orchestra takes part then in the 15th edition of the Festival of Musica de Canarias with the Canary islands in January, then starts a round in Japan during June, then a two weeks round in Germany. In February 2000, the orchestra carried out a one week round in Florida.
