Sylviidae (Sibley)

According to the Phylogeny of Sibley, the family of the Sylviidés (or Sylviidae ) gathers species of Oiseau X of the Europe, traditionally classified in various families with other species.

Systematic position

Certain species are sometimes regarded as pertaining to subfamilies (acrocéphalinés, mégalurinés, sylviinés) of the family of the muscicapidés .

The Garrulicinés, the Timaliini and the Chamaeini are sometimes gathered in the family of the timaliidés with other species (families of the orthonychidés and cinclosomatidés ). For certain authors, the Chamaeini have the statute of family (chamaeidés).

The kinds Panurus and Paradoxornis are classified either among timalidés, or in a particular family, the paradoxornithidés .
