Sylvia Battles (sometimes spelled Silvia Bataille ), born Sylvia Maklès , is an actress and psychoanalyst (1930-1986) French, born on November 1st 1908 and deceased the December 23rd 1993 with Paris.
Sylvia Battles wife in first weddings, the writer Georges Bataille at the sixteen years age, it will keep its name. Then, in 1938 it settles with Jacques Lacan, which it marries in 1953. It was sister of Pink Maklès (wife of André Masson) and of Simone Maklès (wife of Jean Piel).
