Sylvains-the-Mills is a common French, located in the department of the the Eure and the area High-Normandy.

History

The castle of Coulonges belonged a long time to the Dampierre family. Marc Antoine de Dampierre took pseudonym of Henri Coulonges in remembering this property. He obtained the Grand Prix of the novel of the French Academy for his book " the Good-bye with the woman sauvage".
