Sylvain Guintoli

Sylvain Guintoli , born the June 24th 1982 with Montélimar, is a pilot speed motor bike French.

Biography

He makes some competitions of scooter at the 12 years age and becomes the following year the youngest Champion of France Speed. He is selected in 2000 by the Team of France Speed to take part in the Championship of Europe 250  cm ³. It is classified third under the direction of its trainer, Herve Moineau. Propelled in Grand Prix the following year, it carries out very beautiful performances.

He is pilot tester at Yamaha in 2002 in the 500  category; cm ³. First podium with Assen in 2003, Sylvain is a fast and regular pilot. He was crowned better pilot private 250  cm ³ in 2005. It lays out of a semi-official motor bike in the TEAM Grand Prix of France in 2006.

Season 2007

In 2007, it passes of category MotoGP with the team Tech 3 on Yamaha. Author of a difficult beginning of the season but always returning in the points, it carries out a superb blow of glare with the GP of France, on the circuit of Mans. Indeed, taking a bad departure, it goes up everyone in only four turns, and finds 1st GP during a few minutes, in front of its French compatriot Randy De Puniet. The destiny will decide that it will fall both, but Sylvain will go up on his motor bike to finish in the 11th place of this GP!

This season, it finishes it in the 16th place of the classification with 50 pts.

Season 2008

Sylvain Guintoli will dispute season 2008 within the Italian-Spanish stable Ducati d' Antín. The French engaged for one season and will diposera same métériel as the champion in title, Casey Stoner.
