Syed Ahmad Khan

Syed Ahmad Khan (October 17th 1817, Delhi - March 27th 1898, Aligarh), was a magistrate, teacher and Islamic reformer of reputation, creator of the Islamic university of Aligarh to Aligarh, in the Uttar Pradesh in India.

Its family maintained the close contacts with the court moghole. His/her grandfather was twice Prime Minister (wazîr) of the emperor Akbar Shâh.
