Sybelles

Sybelles is a skiable field located in Maurienne, in the south of the Savoy, France.

It is the association of 10 stations of Ski of Maurienne under common initials. Created with beginning of the year 90, the purpose of Sybelles were then promotion of the stations of Maurienne and the creation of a great skiable field connected.

It is only in December 2003 that this dream of Sybelles is carried out, with the creation of the 3rd French skiable field, adding up 310km tracks connected, on the stations of Saint-Sorlin-in Arves, Saint-Jean-with Arves, Corbier, Toussuire, Bottières and Saint-Colomban-of-Villards the. With these let us statons connected is added also those of Albiez-the-Young person and Albiez-Montrond, which offers a small field of 45km of tracks, projecting a connection with the field close to the station of Karellis. The most point of the field is the Perrons which culminates with 2620 mètres.
One finds within Sybelles of the villages of charm, as Saint-Alban-of-Villards, or Jarrier and also of the built stations of all parts in the Sixties with their bars of buildings as to the Corbier. Top of the tracks of Corbier and Saint-Sorlin one sees the Aiguilles of Arves.
