The Palm tree Pindó or Ybá pitá ( Syagrus romanzoffiana ) is a Plante of the family of the arécacées , native of the south of the Brésil, Paraguay and the North-East of the Argentine, in particular in the Gran Chaco. As it became a decorative plant, it was introduced for this purpose in other subtropics of the world, being of everyday usage in town planning. It tolerates well the relatively poor grounds and the temperatures fraiches.
