Switzerland Funds in favor of the victims of the Holocaust

The Fonds Switzerland in favor of the victims of the Holocaust is funds created by the Confederation in 1997 in gesture of solidarity towards persecuted mode Nazi. This funds was created following the business of the accounts in déshérence in the Swiss banks.

It is an humanitarian action independent of the question of the accounts in déshérence and Global agreement of 1998 between Jewish Swiss banks and plaintiffs.

Equipment

  • Interests and of the donations of private individuals for some 25 M FS

Activities of the funds

  • It has affected 295 million FS (200,6 M EURO) with 312.215 recipients,

  • the nonaffected money, that is to say approximately 3M FS, will be allotted by the Confederation to humanitarian organizations.
  • Each recipient received a sum ranging between 600 and 2.000 alive FS
