Switch is a work of the Art American ist Tony Oursler.
Work is composed of 7 elements, including 5 “headstocks”, dispersed since the hall. Oursler installs the two philosophers - who dialog starting from texts of Jean Baudrillard and Paul Virillo - in the bookstore of the Play of palm. Under the balcony of the 1st stage, Simulacra, a puppet, contains a camera actually actuated by the spectator since a remote control panel. Further, the realizer, incarnated by David Bowie, seems to give orders to the spectators. The eye which in fact part is mingled with those of the Eyes installation. In the mezzanine, bulbs suspended on the ceiling dialog via the voices of the theorician of the dance Laurence Louppe and the artist Thierry Kuntzel.
