Swissinfo/Radio Switzerland Internationale (SRI) is a unit of company of SRG Swiss SR idea (Swiss Company of radiotélédiffusion). Short history

The Swiss Service of the short waves , which became thereafter Radio Switzerland international , worked towards a double end: more narrowly to attach with their abroad remaining country the Swiss ones and to contribute to the promotion of Switzerland in the world. The idea of SRG SR is to reduce the future offer to a production limited in English language and to attach this service to SR DRS. In the national languages, only of the files to the specific use of Swiss from abroad would be still realized.
