Swifty McVay
Swifty McVay is a rappor American and originating in Strait (Michigan). As a member of the group D12, it took part in two multidisk platinum albums and collaborated in various projects (world tours, compilations, original soundtracks of films).
Biography
Beginnings
Ondre Moore, known as Swifty Mc Vay was born in 1974. Very quickly, it is impassioned for the rap and founds the group The Rabeez with its Bareda accomplice. The group signs with BMG and records individual the Beat Don' T Stop . In spite of diffusions radios and a regional success, the recording company returns its contract to the duet. It is at this time that Swifty, which knew already the members of D12, collaborates regularly with them. It appears on The Slim Shady EP of Eminem, often takes part in the evenings organized by Proof and is friendly with Bugz. It is the latter which makes return Swifty in the collective, at the time where the members of the group seek a final substitute with Eminem, left in solo. A little later however, Bugz is killed and Eminem returns in the group, creating the final form of the group, composed of: Odd, Kon Artis, Kuniva, Proof, Eminem and thus Swifty Mc Vay
The success of D12
Signed on the label of Eminem, D12 takes part in all the projects of the rappor (album and turned Marshall Mathers , appearances on mix-slaps and compilations) and records the album Devil' S Night which is sold to 4 million specimens. After rounds and new collaborations with Eminem & D12 in 2002-2003, Swifty forms the collective Raw Collection, in particular composed of Bareda. It produces the album of the collective, Baptist Private Circle , who invites in particular Proof, Dogmatic and Eminem on a title each one. In 2004, D12 makes its return with D12 World whose first individual My Band is a resounding success.
Following years
In 2005, Raw Collection and Swifty separate, following the different artistic ones. Simultaneously with its appearances on the solos projects of Odd Proof and , Swifty then founds the label and pole of producers Fyre Department which produces sounds for Xzibit or Stat Quo. It records with them the mix-slap Forrest Fyres in 2006, supposed to announce an album solo. Unfortunately, the death of Proof in April 2006 comes to oppose its plans. In addition, following a violation of its suspended sentence, Swifty is condemned to 93 days of prison which slow down the recording of the 3rd album of D12. Since left prison, Swifty works like a navvy with its accomplices Kon Artis, Bizarre and Kuniva with the recording of this album.
