Swift Anita Leocádia
Anita Leocádia Prestes (Berlin, November 27th 1936) is a Brazilian historian, girl of the Communist militants Olga Benário and Luís Carlos Prestes
Biography
The life of Anita Leocádia Prestes is regarded as a continuation of the history of his/her parents. Born with the female prison from Bressinimstrasse, Anita was isolated of her mother and handing-over with her paternal grandmother, Leocádia Prestes, at the end of the period of breast feeding at the 14 month age.
In Brazil, Anita Prestes was formed, in 1964, industrial Chimie the National school of Chemistry of the old University of Brazil, current federal Université of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). In 1966, full dictatorship, it obtained the title of Master in Organic chemistry.
At the beginning of the decade of 1970, Anita exiled in Soviet Union. In August 1972, it was shown because of its political activity. Judged by contumacy in June 1973, Anita was condemned to four years and six months of prison by the Permanent Council of Justice for the Army.
In December 1975, Anita Leocádia Swift receipt the title of doctor of Economy and Philosophy at the Institute of Social sciences of Moscow. Four years later, in September 1979, justice cancelled the sentence which had condemned Anita to the prison on the basis of first law of Amnistie to the Brésil.
Doctor of History at the Federal University Fluminense, title that it received in January 1990, Anita Prestes is currently professor d' Histoire of Brazil with UFRJ, posts that it conquered by public contest in 1992.
