Swell

Houlle is a common French, located in the department of the Pas-de-Calais and the area Nord-Pas-de-Calais.

Geography

The Houlle is also small a Rivière near to the village, Affluent of the Aa, included in the WISE of the Audomarois.

One manufactures there a brandy grain considered, aromatized with bays of Genièvre, the juniper of Swell . It accompanies the local kitchen (Potjevleesch) and is even used to refine some Maroilles.
