Swainsona formosa
Swainsona formosa is a plant found in Australia of the family of the Fabaceae .
She owes her name to the English botanist Isaac Swainson.
She is famous for her flowers red-blood with a black central part forming a ball. She is originating in the arid areas of the center and of the North-West of Australia and now one finds it on all the continent except for the state of Victoria.
She was taken as floral emblem by the southernmost Australia.
