Svetlana Parkhomenko
Svetlana Cherneva Parkhomenko (born the October 8th 1962) is a Soviet player of Tennis then Russian, Professionnel of the beginning of the Années 1980 with 1995.
In 1984, resulting from the qualifications, it played the 3rd turn with Wimbledon (beaten by Wendy Turnbull), its best performance into simple in a test of the Grand Slam.
It is into double ladies that Svetlana Parkhomenko is most particularly illustrated. 8th world of the discipline in January 1988, it gained nine titles WTA during its career, including eight at the sides of Larissa Neiland. With the latter, it was also semi-finalist in Wimbledon in 1987.
