Svetlahorsk
Svetlahorsk (Belorusse: Сьветлаго́рск; Russian: Светлого́рск, so known under the name of Svetlogorsk ) is a city of the voblast (area) of Homyel in Bielorussia, which is placed on the river Bérézina. Before 1961, Svetlahork was still a village known under the name of Shatsilki. Its rise is due to the station which connects it to the line Zhlobin - Kalinkavichy. In 2005 the city counts approximately 60.000 inhabitants.
