Svartifoss

Svartifoss is a cascade of Iceland located in the National park of Skaftafell.

What makes the fame of this fall is not its size or its power but the splendid formations of basaltic Orgues which one can see around where his name (to svart=noir). Moreover the presence of trees in the neighborhoods (birches) the site makes very different from what one can usually observe in Iceland.
