Svartediket
Svartediket ( the black lake , sometimes called Svartevatnet, named Alreksvannet with the Middle Ages) is a water level equipped with a stopping which is the principal drinking water tank of Bergen, in Norway. Located at 76 meters of altitude and 800 meters of the sea, its perimeter is of 3,79 kilometers and its surface of 0,40 km ². It separates into two the solid mass from Byfjellene.
It is the first Norwegian water level to be equipped with a modern system of distributon of water in 1855. Isdalen, Hardbakkadalen and Våkendalen are the three valleys which drain of Vidden on Svartediket. Tarlebøvatnet, a lake smaller than Svartediket, is located in Våkendalen and is him also equipped with a stopping, and is also used as drinking water tank.
