Summary of the history until episode 26

Episode 1 to 9

After being parvenu to approach it, he declares himself with her in an amusement park, but sees himself rejected ( episode 6 ).

After having beaten with the general surprise the best sprinter of the school ( episode 4 ), it decides to join the team of athletics to approach Suzuka ( episode 7 ), which seems to hate it. If their report/ratio is hardly arranged, sprinteuse and a secret admiror tries to approach him, before learning attraction from Yamato for Suzuka.

This one seems to have in its heart one individual, which one knows only the photograph up to now, obviously near to Suzuka in the past.

This person proves to have been a sprinter, just like Yamato (and which resembles to him like 2 water drops), which were declared about in the same way that this last. He died in an accident, reversed by a car.

Episode 10

Episode 11

Trails by trick until the stage where the competition proceeds, Yamato takes the defense of Suzuka which defended the memory of Kazuki vis-a-vis the best current sprinter, Arima. Yamato then states to be the best sprinter and makes the bet gain. Being vis-a-vis him as of the first turn, Yamato leaves slowly, then, galvanized by the support of Suzuka, it catches up with the champion and delivers face to face tightened, until the moment when, losing balance to have run more quickly than to accustomed, it is found with ground. Arima carries it, but recognizes in Yamato a good adversary. Suzuka, calmed by the efforts carried out by Yamato, looks after its wounds to him.

Episode 12

Honoka then decides to speak with Suzuka to ask for the permission to him of declare itself in Yamato, but this one surprises the conversation right at the time when Suzuka states not to like Yamato. Honoka flees and Asahina tries to catch up with what she said, but with its great surprise, Yamato declares knowledge already that she does not like it.

Episode 13

Miki leaves to see Yasunobu, declaring to him that it should have stopped Yamato because this situation is cruel for Suzuka, but this one rétorque that in love, there is neither well nor badly, the reverse would have been cruel for Honoka. The observers must be satisfied to look at.

Yamato acknowledges its relation with Suzuka after the drive, on request for this one. It does not keep less the smile and is declared happy of it that it could find a boyfriend. The following day, everyone must set out again. But Yamato, descended bought drinks for the team before getting into the train, makes fall the pirns right in front of the door from a coach. Episode 15

To divert Suzuka, Yamato proposes to him to remain one night additional to see the fireflies, but this one refuses and asks him to only leave it. Circumspect, Akitsuki is then made explain by this one which it should keep its kindnesses for Honoka. Finally, after having heard a telephone call of Yamato with Honoka, it decides resolliciter this offer, and they are found the evening in the countryside of Hiroshima.

Whereas the fireflies shine by their absence, Yamato tells that the first time that it had brought a girl here, to confess itself, it had already not had fireflies there. But a firefly appears. Asahina requires of Yamato how it had envisaged to be confessed, and this one plays the scene. At this point in time Suzuka says to him that it agrees to leave with him then declares that it is a joke.

Episode 16

At the time of a meal, Yasunobu extorts from Yamato the fact that he already embraced Sakurai, then asks to him whether he " fait" has;. In front of its reaction, he advises to him to invite it at his place. Finally, Honoka presents itself to have a meal to him, in the absence of his/her aunt. After having to dine, and to be themselves somewhat worried for Asahina, it decides to put the things at light in its head, and to be done, makes fall Honoka on the bed and embraces it. But after a few moments, this one pushes back it, informant that it frightens him. She flees under the eyes of Suzuka which returned to her.

Episode 17

The following day, Asahina and Miki go to karaoké to listen to the last song of Chick, who is being, but they do not know of it anything, a friend of Honoka. However Chick wanted to meet Yamato today, Sakurai organizing a meeting between them two in a coffee, then they go in Karaoké. There, Nana said to Yamato that Honoka is inexperienced and that it should not force it, which of course embarrasses enormously Yamato.

Little time afterwards, Suzuka sees Yamato in company of an unknown girl (Chick), enters and makes him a scene on its behavior. After having discovered its identity, thanks to Miki, the five are put at karaoké together. Chick seems to realize a little strange behavior of Suzuka with respect to Yamato.

Coincidentally, both are found with having to sing together, because having chosen the same song, but in front of the face depity of Honoka, Yamato claims to be misled of number and lets Suzuka only sing.

After being returned, Chick and Yamato are only found. After him to have made compliments on its good behavior, this one is irritated owing to the fact that it seems to play the part of the perfect small-friend to feel at ease towards itself, instead of behaving as it feels it, but also owing to the fact that it did not seek anything to know of Honoka (leisures, birthday…).

Episode 18

Yamato must decide on a gift for Sakurai. He seeks the support of his friends but all propose very different things to him: that which they would like to receive them-even. It then crosses Asahina and asks him council. This one gives him appointment with Shinjuku. During this time, Yuuka and Mégami reveal in Honoka that it will receive one present of Yamato. After one moment spent to look at collars, Suzuka is irritated that Yamato does not make any effort to choose. On this, Yamato decides for a collar sold by a saleswoman of street, after having made it test in Asahina and be themselves amazed in front of the result. Whereas they are on the point of being left, Honoka sees them.

The next morning, Yamato will carry happiness the present at it. This one reveals to him to know that it was bought the collar with Asahina and that it understands that it was important. But instead of being interested in the reaction of Sakurai, Yamato starts to tell the last moments this afternoon with Suzuka and Honoka ends up stopping it brutally, returns its collar to him, is locked up at it and starts to cry.

Episode 19

Yamato tries to be excused at Sakurai at the time of the drive, but this one refuses to listen to it. Asahina, which saw that, awaits Yamato with the return to excuse itself, but Yamato the exemption of any responsibility. This one advises to him not to give up and try to speak again to him by telephone.

Whereas Nana tries to resound Honoka by telephone, Akitsuki decides to pass directly to Sakurai. This one declares to him that it does not accept the collar because it sees that there is always Suzuka in the heart of Yamato, and that it is even more important there than itself. She proposes a rupture, that Yamato accepts, and requires to receive the collar, like remembering their love of short duration. She embraces it then returns.

On its return, Yamato finds Megumi and Yuuka drinking at his place. It receives shortly after the visit of Suzuka, which heard that it had broken while passing in front of the door. He states to him to have broken Ca she was a problem, in particular because she was too serious in her feelings. Asahina from goes away while claquant the door.

Episode 20

During this time, Nana allows Honoka to understand that it was put too much in competition with Suzuka, by lack of confidence in oneself. Sakurai returns then to the drive, being declared with itself that it will retentera its chance at Yamato when it has more regard for itself.

Miki decides to await Akitsuki at the end of the exercises. It then taps the true reason of its rupture to him, then after having promised nothing to say, it takes it along dinner. Episode 21

Asahina refuses from now on to speak in Yamato. The performances of this last leaves something to be desired, for lack of concentration. Miki involves it a little then offers its mediation towards Suzuka to him, but Akitsuki decides to be explained itself with it. It thus awaits it the return and the truth says to him on its rupture. After one moment of confusion when he declares to him that he does not support when he does not get along with her, she leaves, informant not to include/understand.

They find all the 2 with the laundry. He tries to break the ice, but Asahina the rabroue. On its request, it decides to go away to let it withdraw its linen, but finally retains it and asks him the food which she had refused a few minutes earlier, forcing it even to remain. It carries out its bad sides suddenly.

After being to return, it receives a call of Miki then of Suzuka, which encourages it for the race, which fills it of joy. It realizes that it still likes it…

Episode 22

Whereas Yamato prepares for the tournament, while regretting being able to declare itself in Suzuka, it learns that Kazuki had obtained the record of the 100m right before dying, at the same time as Yasunobu the existence learns from this man. This one including/understanding its complex of inferiority, it pushes it and Yamato states to want to become number 1.

Yamato succeeds in being qualified in 10.81s, with less than 4 tenth of the best performance of Arima, its rival, and more rapid that the best performance of Kazuki. Then it carries out 10.68 into half-final, obtaining the best performance of the year… for a few minutes, Arima obtaining 10.50 in his. Suzuka congratulates it and wonders about the reasons of its sudden serious attitude with respect to the race.

Episode 23

The chief of the club of athletics helps Yamato to include/understand his problem of performance: he runs too quickly too early, and becomes exhausted. An athlete can maintain his maximum speed only 6s. He decides to change his way of running. He informs of it Asahina which appears very génée and critical this decision without real visible reason. He involves himself hard until in evening with the assistance of Miki, with which he acknowledges the reason of his motivation.

On her side, Chick-chan advises in Honoka, which realizes of the mutual interest between Yamato and Suzuka, to seek someone else.

Involving itself always hard, Yamato made of Net progress on the form, but Asahina continuous show him the possibilities that occurs badly. After a hard day of drive, Asahina says to him to stop because it ran already too much and that it is irresponsible and that she does not trust him. Episode 24

Whereas Suzuka has seems it gained the tournament of high jump, it proves that the times carried out by Yamato during the preparations are in-on this side hopes, tending not to accelerate enough to delay the moment when it reaches its maximum speed. Episode 26

Suzuka turns over to it and cries. Yamato thinks of being excused while returning but gives up it because it does not consider to have fault in its words.

In the morning, they cross without speaking each other. Yasunobu explains to him why Suzuka has undoubtedly a version idealized of Tsuda in memory.

The evening, they are recrossed. Yamato asks to him whether it hopes to be unaware of it for always and says to him that he will not excuse himself. Suzuka still flees.

The following day, Honoka discusses with Suzuka, declaring to him that it should clarify the things, and that itself was going to leave the team because Yamato had eyes only for Asahina.

The next day, Suzuka takes along Yamato on the tomb of Tsuda, although this one said to him not to go there.

They go in the school hand in the hand, Suzuka, although génée, taking the initiative of a more intimate catch.

Anecdotes

• kanjis of " Suzuka" should be read suzukaze if it were about a word, from where the name met sometimes in animated. That means " break fraiche". Since that passably seems to irritate it, one can suppose that she sees there a reference to her certain coldness.
• kanjis of " Suzuka" can be also read ryōfū , which is the title of the last episode. It means the same thing exactly as suzukaze . However, one can suppose, being given the choice of this word, that the production meant this time " break rafraichissante" ( suzukaze and ryōfū also being able to have this significance), to mean the change of attitude of Suzuka.
• " Yamato" , written with these kanjis, the old name of Japan indicates.
• " Kazuki" comprise a common kanji with " Yamato". This name can be included/understood like " the star of Japon".
