Sustain

While speaking about music (and in particular about Electric guitar), the sustain ( maintenance in English) indicates the capacity that with the instrument to preserve, to maintain the sound of a note, without this one being rejouée.

Sustain has off parameter musical sound in time. Ace its name implies, it indicate the period off time during which the sound is sustained before it begins to insipid out.
