Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono
Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (born the September 9th 1949) is president of the Indonesia since October 2004, and the first with being elected with the Universal direct suffrage. Its vice president is Muhammad Jusuf Kalla, of the Golkar, left the former president Soeharto. Yudhoyono is member of the democratic party.
Election with the presidency
September 20th, 2004, it obtained 61% of the voices to the second round vis-a-vis the outgoing president Megawati Soekarnoputri
One month later, it lent oath before the Parliament to Jakarta and its mandate five years officially began. He pronounced the following text:
- “In the name of God, I swear to fulfill my obligations of president of the Republic of Indonesia in a way as complete and right as possible.
- I will respect with the letter the Constitution, will apply the laws in the most honest possible way and will dedicate to me with the country and the nation”.
Presidency
The April 8th 2005, Yudhoyono visits the Eastern Timor for a reconciliation after the bloody events of 1999, at the time of the independence of the old Portuguese colony and province indonésienne.
Song
Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono is the author of an album of songs of varieties and sung by famous interpreters. The album entitled " My nostalgia for toi" left in October 2007 and the songs were written since its entry in in October 2004 presidency.
