Surya Bonaly is a artistic skater French born the December 15th 1973 with Nice. Since November 2003, it also has the American nationality. It patinated under the colors of France and in particular gained 9 championships of France, 5 championships of Europe and 3 money medals to the championships of the world. Biography

Star of the world ice-skating of the Years 1990 and representing French ice-skating, Surya is multiple champion of France of 1989 with 1997 without interruption and multiple champion of Europe of 1991 with 1995 without interruption. Surya Bonaly begins its sporting career with the artistic gymnastics before acquiring a championship of the world hopes of tumbling.

Surya was involved a long time at the sides of Didier Gailhaguet before separating some in 1992, but also André Brunet, Alain Giletti and Suzanne Bonaly (his/her mother). Passed professional in 1999, it turns with the American official receptions, as well as many official receptions in the world (Japan, Russia, Germany….) and on professional competitions. It has the Franco-American dual nationality today.

Its origins are badly known. According to a majority of sources, it would have been born with Nice.
