Surice

Surice is a section of the Belgian city of Philippeville located in Walloon region in the Province of Namur.

It was a commune with whole share before the fusion of the communes of 1977. Hamlets: Lautenne, Wez-of-China.

Surice was declared " village-martyr" First World War: August 25th, 1914, the 104e, 106e, 107e IH of the German imperial army passed by the weapons 56 civilians and destroyed 132 houses, i.e. almost all the village, at the time of the German Atrocités made at the beginning of the invasion.
