A surgical speciality indicates a practice with aiming diagnoses or Thérapeutique requiring a physical intervention on the human body.
The surgical specialities gather:

- the visceral Chirurgie relates to the interventions on the abdominal bodies;
- the digestive Chirurgie relates to the interventions on the digestive tract;
- the vascular Chirurgie relates to the intervention on the vessels;
- the Neurochirurgie relates to the interventions on the Cerveau or the Spinal-cord;
- the Urologie relates to the interventions on the kidneys and the urinary tracts, like on the male genital apparatus;
