Surface lift
In Mechanical of the solid, one calls surface of lift the Surface on which the orthogonal Projection of the Center of gravity of a Solide on the ground, or a support, must be to guarantee the balance.
In particular, it is shown that the part of the object in contact with the ground must be locally concave to ensure a stable balance . In a more general way, at the time of a competition between two force S, there is balance if and only if the projection of the center of gravity of each involved solid is in its surface of lift.
