Supplier

A supplier has as a responsibility to order the parts, goods, products necessary to its Entreprise, and to take care that they arrive in time and quantities. It determines the quantities necessary, as well as the delivery dates necessary (it is assisted most of the time by a Logiciel of management says software CAM, or even a ERP). In the companies buying of very large volumes, in tended flows, the supplier must not only decide dates and quantities, but even of the hours of deliveries, even manage flows (of vehicles, etc) The supplier follows the deliveries of the suppliers and anticipates the problems.

The function of provisioning is part of the function purchases. In the small structures or when there are small volumes, it is the purchaser who supplies.

The supplier does not have normally the functions of searchs for Fournisseur S, of Négociation S of price and establishment of contracts.

The necessary formation to be supplier is generally a function of the trades of the Logistique. The use of the business computing and communication is imperative.

At the human level, one needs a solid good sense, authoritative being, but trading, and to have a good cold blood.
