The superportes of the stars Ori are of very big size (300 to 400 meters in diameter in the 9x06 and superior has 1000 meters in the episode 9x20). They make it possible to make pass a fleet of spaceships (episodes 9x06 and 9x20 of Stargate SG-1 ). These doors consist of a chain of floating elements inter-connected in space. The elements of the superporte are sent since the galaxy of Ori through a normal door of stars. Connections between the components of a superporte are sufficiently strong to resist the combined shootings of a whole fleet of vessel-mothers Goa' uld.
The size of a superporte and the distance to be traversed between the galaxy of Ori and the Milky Way are such as these superportes require a microphone-singularity (Black hole) obtained by compressing a planet with a field of force to feed in energy. The black hole also allows to maintain the vortex open more than 38 minutes.
In the final episode of season 9 of Stargate SG-1 (9x20 Street pedlar ), the Ori send four of their vessels in lighting in the Milky Way thanks to a superporte of stars. Major Samantha Carter tried to control Superporte. With the assistance of Kvasir (Asgard), it created a crystal of control intended to replace one of those already established in Superporte.
In the episode 10x03, one learns that the superporte can be actuated only since one different galaxy. The superportes would be thus galactic doors. SG-1 thus goes in the galaxy of PEGASE with the Odyssée to contact the door thanks to a black hole providing energy, and to leave it indefinitely open for thus blocking the reinforcements ori.
