Super tuesday

With the the United States, Super Tuesday indicates Tuesday of the beginning of March of the year of a presidential election. It is the day when the greatest number of States vote simultaneously to indicate among the candidates, those which will be able to be presented indeed to the election at the beginning of November. Because a great number of States votes this Tuesday, it is estimated that it is the day of the primary most important. That concerns the principal candidates of both political parties: the Democratic party and the Republican party.

History

The expression super tuesday date of the primary of the March 8th 1988. Importance of the Super Tuesday

During the primary , the fifty States send delegates to conventions of the two principal parties. At the time of these conventions the candidates with the presidency and the vice-presidency of the the United States are designated. The number of delegated by State is function of its demographic importance.

The States voter this super Tuesday many and certain among are populated country, but also of the States of a great social diversity.
