Super Bowl XLI

The Super Bowl XLI is it forty-and-unième final annual of the national league of American football. It determines thus the winner of the season 2006.

It was gained by the Colts of Indianapolis, victorious of the American Football Conference, which beat the Bears of Chicago, victorious of the National Football Conference, over the score of 29-17.

The match took place the February 4th 2007 with the Dolphin Stadium of Miami (Florida) where the Miami Dolphins domiciled. The candidature was selected on September 17th 2003 vis-a-vis those of the Arizona, Tampa, New York, and Washington. After this part, Miami is the city which accommodated the greatest number of finales, with equality with the New-Orleans (9).

The Colts finished first of the southern division of the AFC with twelve victories and four defeats. Being third of conference AFC at the conclusion of the regular season, they must pass by a turn of Wild Cards where they beat the Chiefs of Kansas City. The Colts eliminate then the Ravens from Baltimore out of turn of division and the Patriots of the News England finally of conference.

the musician Prince was the high-speed motorboat of the spectacle of the half-time. In ten minutes, a central scene in the form of luminous symbol was set up on the lawn. Prince delivered a 12 minutes medley containing his hits Let' S Go Crazy and Purple Rain , as well as resumptions of Bob Dylan ( All Along The Watchtower ), Foo Fighters ( Best Of You ) and Credence Clearwater Revival ( Proud Mary , sung in duet with Shelby Johnson). Prince was also accompanied by the brass band by the Marchin' 100 by university A&M by Florida. The performance of Prince, delivered under a beating rain, was regarded by the American press as one of best ever given for the show of the half-time of Superbowl.
