Super 45 turns
Notice, the name super 45 turns corresponds to English, who also indicated discs 33 turns.
Origins
Super the 45 turns (or maximum individual, maximum-45T), disc of 30 cm (12 inches) of diameter was born with the advent from the music disco music in the Années 1970. The songs becoming longer than the average pop songs and than the DJ of nightclub wanted a good level noise, the format 45-turns of 17 cm (7 inches) was to be changed. Since the production costs for the discs of 17cm (7 inches), 25cm (10 inches), and 30 cm (12 inches) were equivalent at the time, there was not a real motivation to use the smallest formats. The producers of discs sought a noise level of recording raised to compensate for the poor signal report/ratio on noise, apparent while simply assembling volume with 45-turns of 17 cm. A noise level of high recording requires more space considering than the furrows become broader (especially in low the, important ones for the dance music). Many companies of disc started to produce discs of 30 cm (12 inches) to 33 1/3 tr/min, slower speed improving the low ones. However, 45 tr/min give a better answer in the acute ones and were used on much super individual, especially in the the United Kingdom.
