Super-star (gun)

SUPER-STAR is a semi-automatic gun with simple action, copies M-1911 Colt, gauges 9mm largo of it.

Manufactured by the Spanish firm Star Bonifacio Echeverria S.A. since 1945, it constitutes an improvement of the various models " A". Presented to the military authorities those will declare it lawful weapon for the Army on July 24th, 1946, and the navy on October 25th, 1946.

Characteristic of operation

Are system of operation is identical to FN GP35 · Browning Hi-Power. The lower part of the gun comprises a cam out of U embedded in the key of disassembling, and at the time of the departure of the blow, the gun moves back with the cylinder head, then releases this one, which continues its race by ejecting the case.
