Sunning
In meteorology, the sunning is the time during which a place is exposed to the Sun.
It is considered that it is the case when the objects, buildings, bodies… produce shadows clearly: the place is then subjected to a " insolation". By convention, there is insolation if received illumination is at least equal to 120 Watts per square meter.
The illumination of a place is subjected to many parameters: Astronomical S (hours of raising and lying of the sun), topographic S, Weather S (clouds, fog), natural (vegetation, fauna) or human (buildings, passage of vehicles…).
The estimates Climatologique S of the sunning are important in agrometeorology or for the implementation of production of solar energy; they also play a notable part for the appreciation of the attractivity of a geographical area.
It is also estimated that a too weak sunning could be one of the factors of the " seasonal Depression " who touches certain people in autumn and winter.
