Sundarbans
The delta of the Sundarbans ( sundri is a plant present in the Mangrove and banns forest) is the largest forest of mangrove world. The area extends through the Bangladesh and the India. It was classified World heritage of UNESCO (it is even entered twice, one by country).
Consequence of the Climate warming
In the Bay of Bengal, the sea level increases each year of 3,14 millimetres, against an average of 2 millimetres in the other oceans. This difference is related to the cast iron of the glaciers of the the Himalayas.Since 1975, in spite of the construction of Dam S, four islands of Sundarbans disappeared under water causing displacement from 6.000 inhabitants. It is provided that 30.000 families will have to migrate from here at 2020, when 15% of the grounds disappear.
The World Wide Fund for Nature plans to replant Mangrove S around the islands to let pass the Sédiment S while slowing down the rise of water at the time of the Mousson.
