Synopsis
Former gangster withdrawn of the “businesses”, Denis Ferrand, called “the Finicking one”, runs peaceful days with his Marie-Jeanne wife in a provincial town where one is unaware of his past very. He is there owner of a quiet bar, the “Domino”, managed by charming Betty, and of a comfortable inn, “the Thatched cottage”…Opposite the bar an agency of the Industrial Credit of North is and as a good neighbor, Ferrand is pilot of all the comings and goings. By idleness and especially by nostalgia, it decides to develop the steering. The sexagenerian indeed noticed that on fixed date, a convoy came to seek the pay of the workmen of the nuclear center of Farville. Whereas it polishes the various stages of its hypothetical burgling, Ferrand receives the visit impromptue of a former friend, Jim Beckley. Met formerly with Saigon, this American is for the time being tracked by a band of traffickers. Denis then will kill two birds with one stone: kasher Beckley at his place and to benefit from its assistance to assemble the “blow”.
