Sun of Scorta

the Sun of Scorta is a novel by Laurent Gaudé published at Actes Sud, Prix Goncourt 2004.

This novel is a planted family saga with Montepuccio, village of Pouilles, in the south of the Italy, of 1875, when the parent rapes by mistake the sister of that which he covets, at our days.

Contrary to Vito Corleone, the character of the godfather of films of Francis Ford Coppola, those of this family cannot be established with the the United States of America but they are also violent one and apply the law of silence.
