Summer lives with Newport Beach in California with his/her father, Neil Roberts, esthetic surgeon. She is the most popular girl of the college. His/her best friend is Marissa Cooper. The mother of Summer gives up them whereas the latter is only 13 years old. The mother-in-law of Summer takes many drugs. In season 3, one also knows that Neil will divorce the mother-in-law Summer and will marry Julie Cooper, the mother of Marissa Cooper.
At the beginning, Summer hated Seth but it is seen well that the opposites attract each other! Summer will live several adventures with Zach but Seth remains the only one that she never liked. Summer and Seth are often couples some in the series even if their couple beats sometimes wing, it is stronger than all.
