SummerSlam 2001

SummerSlam 2001 is the fourteenth SummerSlam of the history of the World Wrestling Entertainment. It was held the August 19th 2001 with the Compaq Center of San Jose in California.

The dominant history in this statement relates to the invasion of the Alliance which gave place to confrontations between the superstars of the WWF vis-a-vis their former rivals resulting from the World Championship Wrestling and of the Extreme Championship Wrestling.
