Sulvanite
The sulvanite is a Minéral composed of Sulfure of Cuivre and Vanadium of formula CuVS.
Cubanite crystallizes in the crystalline Système cubic, Groupe of space , hardness 3 ½. Its structure is derived from that of the Sphalérite, as that of the Cubanite is derived from that of the Wurtzite: the Cuivre occupies 75% of a tetrahedral type of cavity, the Vanadium 25% of the other type. The tetrahedrons centered on copper divide edges with those centered on vanadium.
Sulvanite is as primary education sulfide in the hydrothermal lodgings of copper which contain vanadium. It forms a series with the Arsenosulvanite.
