Sulayman Ben Al-Hakam
“Al-Musta' in Bi-llah” Sulayman Ben Al-Hakam or Sulayman , is the son of Al-Hakam II Al-Mustansir and small son of `rear-Rahmān Abd III year-Nāsir. Born in 958, it was Caliph Omeyyade de Cordoue of 1009 with 1010 then of 1013 with 1016. He died in 1016.
Biography
Muhammad II had been carried to the capacity in a coup d'etat carried out by the omeyyade family (1009). Muhammad takes again the capacity (1010).
The departure of its Catalan allies leaves weakened Muhammad to Cordoue and a revolt of the soldiers slaves Berbère S and Esclavon S relieved and killed this last. The insurrectionists give weak Hichâm on the throne (1010).
In 1013, Sulayman plans to reconquer Cordoue with the assistance of the Berber ones. Hichâm deposed and is killed. Nevertheless Sulayman could not reconstitute the caliphate in its entirety. The Zirides formed an independent dynasty with Grenade. In 1016 it in its dislocated turn and is killed. It is a family member hammudite, `Alī Ben Hammud Al-Nāsir, which succeeded to him of 1016 with 1018.
A omeyyade, `Abd rear-Rahmān IV, will return to the capacity in 1018.
