Suizei

The emperor Suizei (綏靖天皇, Suizei Tennō ) is the second emperor Japan to be appeared on traditional the list of the emperors.

No unquestionable date can be allotted to this emperor and he is regarded by the historians as a “legendary emperor”. He is the first of eight emperors without legend, the Kojiki and the Nihonshoki specifying only his name and his genealogy. The tradition allots to him dates of life of -632 with -549 and locates its reign starting from -581, following that of his/her father Jimmu. Shortly after its accession with the capacity, his/her brother rebels against him.

If the tradition affirms that there really existed and allots a tomb to him, as well as the Palais of Takawoka to Kadzuraki like sits of its reign, the modern historical studies tend to show that it has in fact never existed.
